Our team has grown enormously since those crazy days of 2015 when none of us knew what we were doing. We don’t know much more now but we are loving growing as a team and family! We’ll add more of our team to this page over the coming days, but for now, this is a flavour of who we are…
Operations: Dave
Dave is passionate about the potential for this sustainable project to change lives on Mt Elgon and transform perceptions about Ugandan coffee.
Quality Control: Isaac
Isaac came on board during our first harvest season and has not looked back since. Passionate (and tough!) about quality and ‘doing things properly’, Isaac is a huge and vital asset to the team. He and Ivan make a formidable partnership in driving the project forward – and carrying our farmers with them.
Operations: Ivan
The ever-dependable Ivan is Zukuka’s go-anywhere do-anything everyman. Whether he’s driving muddy roads in the pouring rain or inspecting coffee as it’s drying; he brings an infectious joy and passion to the team. He’s also the owner of the title ‘biggest biceps’ on the team!
